A beginner friendly solitary boulder in a family friendly location. The landings are good as well as the views. The rock is particularly rough and heavily featured so numerous variations exist on the lines. A lovely spot to spend an hour or two.
15 minutes. From the main road in Glenridding take the minor road that goes past Catstyecam outdoor. This becomes a lane, follow signs for Lanty's tarn. The boulder is on the north side of the wall bounding the tarn area, visible from the main path.
