From the carpark at Embalse de la Sarta take the trail towards Refugio Respumoso. The hike to the refuge takes around 2.5 hours, and once at the refuge take a steep uphill trail immediately on the left. At the bottom of it there is water flowing out of a pipe which can be used as a landmark. Starting uphill, before too long, perhaps half an hour, the terrain will start to level out at which point head towards your right. The trail then is above a basin which you need to go down into, to be able to then climb up the hill towards the base of this crag.
