55m, 2 pitches. Climb is 200m below & right of Water Hole Ice climb. Directly above the Lake on south side of highway. Both Water Hole & Irish Mist can be seen from the road. Either park as for Heart Creek & follow an undulating track running parallel to the Main Road Route 1 heading west for approx 2km then start heading uphill. Unfortunately there is a myriad of tracks, generally keep low. Another route is from parking on side of West heading highway-Route 1 almost directly below the 2 ice climbs. You would then need to cross both carriageways & pick up a track heading into the forest. (Not sure on legality of crossing carriageway)!
Route is 2 pitches. Pitch 1 WI3 25m to a bolt belay either on right or left of ice pillar. Pitch 2 WI4 starting up narrow pillar of ice with bolt for protection on right. After 10m the angle eases for another 20m to a bolt belay on left. You can walk off from first pitch if abbing down 2nd pitch & have climbed with a single 60m rope.
