UKC

Start at the layback crack just left of ‘Long Crack’.

1. Climb the crack, which leans slightly over, to the left to its junction with the remainder of the cliff. (The difficult section 15 feet up was avoided by climbing the face on the left and traversing back into the crack just below the detached block.)

2. Make an upward traverse to the right to a crack 10 feet to the right of the fifth pitch of ‘East Buttress Climb’, which leads up to the arete (can be taken in two pitches).

3. Climb the steep section of the arete to the top.

NB: - It is probable that this climb can be straightened out to avoid using either of the ‘East Buttress Climb’ stances.
