A small and beautiful mountain on the west coast of Edgeøya, featuring excellent views of Spitsbergen and Storfjorden.
Approach notes
Muen is situated within the Søraust-Svalbard nature reserve and is also outside of management zone 10. Therefore permission from Sysselmannen is essential for trips on land and proof of insurance/ bank guarantee is expected, to cover any rescue should there be an issue.
