| Rock is nice and grippy in dry conditions, although a little crumbley in places. I have put up a few route and intend to do a few more in the coming couple of months. there still is a lot of foliage growiing from the face of the quarry so I will try and remove most of this next month. | Ive just made myself moderator for this crag. There is no set routes in the lancashire rock guidebook. I will get up there in the near future to measure the face and to set a few routes. I went to have a look a few weeks back and it was as green as grass, not an advisable place to go in damp conditions or in winter. I shall report back when it gets into spring and summer to update the state of the face in nicer weather. Bainbridge - 15/Mar/09 |
