18m. The wall where the Great Flake was. Start independently of the scoop/crack of Great Flake Left about half a meter right of the start of the scoop. Climb the smooth dark coloured wall to gain pockets in its upper part and follow these trending right to good jugs and gear in the break then gain the large prickly ledge by following the left side of the blunt rib above the jugs. From the prickly ledge with the dead tree on its right hand side two finishes are available. Either climb the crack/groove directly above the tree or move left on the ledge about 1.5 meters (painful) and climb the crack system about 1 to 2 meters right of the finish to Great Flake Left (the historical finish to Great Flake Right). Both are about the same grade (4b) and require care. Adequately protected. The start to the good jugs and break then escaping R to the top of the arete of Stepfather and descending the corner of Grandad is a nice f6a boulder problem.
