This route is on Backside buttress which lies set back from the line of the main ridge approx. 150 behind Sheep Crag (if approaching from the Quarry car park). One of the most obvious features of the crag is the corner of Crinkly staircase just right of the highest point of the crag.
Start a few metres right of Billy’s Bound beneath the left hand of two obvious cracks in the ½ height roof above. Haul directly over the initial undercut and continue direct through roof above taking advantage of the weakness of the crack. Harder than it looks and not especially easy to protect.
