60m, 2 pitches. This one is on the smaller buttress passed on the left just before the final scree path ascent to South Crag proper. There is an apron of slabs topped by a steep upper section with a conspicuous two-stepped groove at the centre. Start at the base of the slabs, directly below the groove.
1. 4a, 35m. Head up for 6m then diagonally right to a stance under the eaves of the upper crag.
2. 4c, 25m. Traverse left below the overlap and pull over on good holds to gain the groove. Climb the first step direct (crux) and turn the second on the right to finish.
