Rockfax Description
One star for the top pitch. The first pitch has some frightening and hard moves on shattered rock. Combining pitch 1 of Mysteries with pitch 2 of Hysteria gives a good E4 5c,6a. Start at a crack below a rightwards facing groove.
1) 6a, 20m. Climb the crack and then undercut steeply rightwards and pull around the bulge. Teeter up the groove above, then step right onto the Mysteries ramp to belay.
2) 6a, 20m. Climb Mysteries for 5m then undercut right under a bulge. Pull over where the angle eases and climb the left-hand crack to the top. © Rockfax

βeta: The first pitch is really dodgy at the moment. I did it on a shunt last week and knocked several bits of the groove off just by brushing them with me knee. The protection is also fairly sparse on this section - don't do it! | βeta? | |
