180-meter tall granite dome nestled against North Carolina's Blue Ridge in Stone Mountain State Park. Mostly very run-out friction climbing with sparse bolts that were generally originally placed on lead. Most belays have recently been upgraded to double bolted rings. The south face is considerably more accessible (and sunny) than the north side.
Park at the Stone Mountain State Park Lower Trailhead and walk approximately 15 minutes to either the top of Stone Mountain (for rappel access to both North and South Faces) or to the Hutchinson Homestead (walk-in access to the base or routes along the South Face).
This is a State Park and mandatary climbing permits must be filled in at the information board next to the Hutchinson Homestead.
