Hong Kong Rock Description
110m. Dramatically positioned climbing on the second pitch where climbing down is the solution to upwards progress!
1) 5a - 40m - 13 Bolts. Stride up easy ground to where the wall steepens where upon a traverse line left leads to a large ledge and bolt belay.
2) 6a - 12m - 6 Bolts. Climb up and right towards a hanging and blank-looking corner. Make technical moves into the corner and clip a bolt high out on the face to your right. Reverse the corner and with the benefit of the high bolt, traverse rightwards in an exhilarating position to gain holds that enable upwards progress to a welcome jug. Press on, making final moves to gain the large mid height ledge system and a bolt belay.
3) 5a - 16m - 6 Bolts. Step left onto the wall, making a rising leftwards traverse through bulging rock until it is possible to step down into a small alcove and ledge (bolt belay).
4) 4a - 17m - 8 Bolts. Climb the straightforward slab to the higher horizontal ledge system and bolt belay.
5) 4a - 25m - 10 Bolts. Climb the last pitch of Tin Hau to the summit terrace. © Hong Kong Rock
