The landowner has recently informed the BMC and climbers on site that he does not allow climbing in the quarry. Several unsucessful attempts have been made meet with the landowner, but no response has been forthcoming so far. Anyone climbing the the quarry may asked to leave - if this happens, please do so politely.

βeta: WARNING! The top section just before the anchor has collapsed! There are VERY LARGE and UNSTABLE blocks of rock waiting to fall on your belayer! An absolute shame because the climb is really fun and it's "kind of solid" (for Tintern standards) for the first 30m, but gets loose towards the end. The anchor is now sitting on a layer of rocks that will probably fall at some point (you can see fresh fallen rock on the ground already). You can climb it with a 70m rope (I think the route is 35m, not 40m as the guidebook says) but we still cleaned it off the anchor of the adjacent route to avoid relying on that sketchy anchor. | βeta?

βeta: The rock is good quality up until the last 10m where it gets progressively worse. Top 5m of legdes are covered in loose. Belayers need to be aware. | βeta?
