βeta: Not sure if I was on the correct line. Straight up rather than trending left seemed the only option. No gear until the difficulties are complete. Some loose rock and lichen/moss didn’t help. I was going to solo this, glad I didn’t. Fluffing the hard moves onto easy ground would result in a nasty fall into the tree or onto a ledge. I have no plans to come back and lead it. 5c/6a, E3 or E4 depending on how bad you think the fall would be. Might have just been having a bad day! Apart from that, the climbing is quite interesting. | βeta? | |
