Restricted Access
Climbing is banned on almost all of the plentiful rock of Wilsons Prom. Rock climbing is a minority interest here and as such the community has little power to change the situation. For the few higher areas wher you are allowed to climb (e.g Mount Bishop, some parts of Mount Oberon) you will have to seek a permit from the Park Office in the Tidal River campground. The staff won't really understand you because for them anything beyond walking on designated trails is an alien activity. Other than that you can mess about on diminutive boulders on Norman Beach and Squeaky Beach and gaze mournfully at what could be.

Possibly the most popular ropeworthy climb on the whole of Wilsons Promentary because of ease of access with no permit required and an appealing moderate line and grade.
