An up-skilling list of my 2024 short term goals. Focused around gaining experience on historic climbs; in order to build the required repertoire of techniques to send my dream routes by the iconic: Simon Nadin, Nick Dixon and Johnny Dawes.
Seldom repeated routes such as Destination Earth require exacting footwork and a rock solid head game as well as lots of cleaning. And I feel it’s important to take a sequential approach to working these routes in order to prevent damage and wasted time/skin.
I also think it’s more respectful to tick off routes in a difficulty based order rather than working an icons test piece to death before I’m actually ready for it.
