This weekend (21st & 22nd June), the British Bouldering Championships will be held at The Climbing Works in Sheffield. During the event, 100 of Britain's best boulderers will be fighting it out to win the title of British Champion.

The competition is set to be exciting with current British Champion Shauna Coxsey away in China for the World Cup, the title of British Champion is there for the taking for the women. Will 2009 and 2010 champion Leah Crane re-take the title (UKC Interview with Leah), or will it be up and coming competition star Michaela Tracy?

In the men's competition, current champion Dave Barrans will be there to defend his title, but James Garden has really improved in recent years, coming third in 2012 and then second in 2013. So expect a good battle for the position of Men's British Champion!

The qualifications take place on Saturday the 21st, with the Men competing in the morning and the Women in the afternoon.

The Semi-Finals and Finals will then take place on Sunday the 22nd, with climbing time beginning at 10.30am and 3.20pm respectively.
