With six months to go until the Sport Climbing events begin at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, we've completed the first section of our athlete profile database showcasing the 30 selected climbers to date.

In these interactive 'sports card' style profiles, you'll find competition stats and action shots alongside bios and analysis written by UKC staff, with some predictions and trivia thrown in for good measure.

68 athletes will compete in Sport Climbing's second Olympic showing, with Speed as a single event and Boulder & Lead as a combined medal. 28 athletes will compete in Speed and 40 in Boulder & Lead, split equally between men and women (14 and 20 per sex).

30 of the total Sport Climbing quota of 68 athletes have been selected so far, with the remaining 30 to be decided at the upcoming Olympic Qualifier Series this spring (plus four Host Country or Universality quota places for Boulder & Lead, and four for Speed, bringing the total to 68).

The climbers can be sorted by seed*, Speed PB or Boulder and Lead results to see how they measure up against one another in each discipline.

We hope that this permanent site feature will become a reference point for information on the athletes of the Paris 2024 Games.

The page can otherwise be accessed via the homepage 'News' menu and selecting 'Olympics'.
