Kev Shields, 45, I’ve been on the Rab team for 12 years now. After years of primarily soloing rock routes, competing in dry tooling competitions and sport mixed climbing I’ve now focused most of my attention on developing new trad routes in the Highlands as I love the whole process. I also love ice climbing and mountain running. I have basically only one hand, epilepsy and numerous arthritic joints from a climbing accident in 2010 and like to challenge these things in my outdoor pursuits.
