, the Lake District is to get a Via Ferrata at the Honister Slate Mine at Borrowdale, with the opening scheduled for May during the first Keswick Mountain Festival. The Honister Via Ferrata will follow a Victorian miners' route along the face of Fleetwith Pike before topping out on the 2,126ft summit.
