© Alastair Lee / Posing Productions In late June, Alex Honnold teamed up with Sean Leary and climbed Salathé Wall on, El Capitan, Yosemite, in a record 4 hours and 55 minutes. They then continued on to The Nose, making a very fast ascent in 7 hours, meaning they made two super-quick ascents of El Cap in a single day.

The team planned to continue on to Half Dome, but were beaten by extremely high temperatures.

Sean Leary is to accompany Leo Houlding to Mt. Asgard later this year. The expedition will be filmed by Posing Productions.
