The magician, Maurizio Zanolla, or "Manolo", has done the 3rd ascent, after Nicolas Favresse and Riccardo "Sky" Scarian, of Thin ice, a 25m, very technical 8c, at Terlago in the Sarca valley, northern Italy. Not bad for a 51-year-old! Full story in both English and Italian on Planet Mountain.
