25-28 August, the first annual Västervik International Boulder Meet was arranged in and around the idyllic town of Västervik on the Swedish east coast. To spice the event up somewhat a few famous boulderers from different corners of the world were invited.
None of them had been there before and I don't think the expectations were sky high, but they dared and won as it were. All of them seemed to enjoy their stay.
Next year the event is scheduled to take place in mid September.
