If you're dreaming of Californian granite, then why not apply for the American Alpine Club International Climbers' Meet?
The meet runs from 8 - 13 October 2012 in Yosemite Valley, and any competent trad climber can apply for a space.
The goal is to host a diverse group of climbing abilities from a multitude of countries, and American Alpine Club members from the USA will be participating again this year.
