FRI NIGHT VID: Dawes and Redhead - E9 6c

Two awesome videos for tonight's Friday Night Vid slot.

John Redhead was one of the leading climbers of the 1980's, with bold first ascents across North Wales. Here are two films made about John and the younger climber Johnny Dawes back at that time:

E9 6c is a film by Dominic Clemence and is of course titled in reference to The Indian Face on Cloggy with Redhead and Dawes.

Clown Ascending follows John Redhead causing trouble, climbing buildings and showing his art - it's quite interesting!

Depends whether you think climbing is a sport or an appreciation of art I suppose. But if it's only a sport, what do all these people climbing E11 do for getting a meaning from life? Or are they all just headless...
