Two awesome videos for tonight's Friday Night Vid slot.
John Redhead was one of the leading climbers of the 1980's, with bold first ascents across North Wales. Here are two films made about John and the younger climber Johnny Dawes back at that time:
E9 6c is a film by Dominic Clemence and is of course titled in reference to The Indian Face on Cloggy with Redhead and Dawes.
Clown Ascending follows John Redhead causing trouble, climbing buildings and showing his art - it's quite interesting!
I think I agree, he does seem a tad self absorbed and waffling. Like in the first video where he says how two climbers have seen his picture on Indian Face, and that one is dead and they other has gone mad, and asks... Timmd - 21 Jan 2013

I never saw his street show - was that an art thing ? In the context of the Indian Face and his climbing achievements I think he has earned the right to express himself any way he wants. I find him truly inspiring. As... I like climbing - 20 Jan 2013
