Saturday 5 October at 17.00 CET, it's time for Finland's first ever international bouldering invitational, The Sisu Masters 2013, at Kiipeily Arena in Helsinki.
The line-up is very interesting with both international and Finnish stars, specializing on both rock and plastic.
As this is a "build your own problem" competition, similar in that sense to for example the Tierra Boulder Battle, this makes for extremely varied, and sometimes weird, problems of all styles and shapes, from 20 move technical mind games, to spectacular double dynos.
Anna Stöhr, Austria
Mélissa Le Nevé, France
Anna Laitinen, Finland
Eevi Jaakkola, Finland
Kilian Fischhuber, Austria
David Graham, USA
Nalle Hukkataival, Finland
Anthony Gullsten, Finland
Watching everyone working the problems, it was impossible to say who are the favourites to take home the €4000 prize checks, but if you watch the livestream I can promise you an exciting competition. And yes, there will be an English speaking commentator.
