Fontainebleau II with Iker ArroitajauregiVideo

© Iker Arroitajauregi coll.

In this video we get to see Iker Arroitajauregi, from the Basque country, Spain, repeat and first ascents of a string of difficult problems in Fontainebleau.

Featured in the video is Jan Hojer's Jour de chasse, which was originally given 8C, but now it seems more likely that it is closer to 8B+.
The reason is better beta for the start. Where Jan made a sort of campus move to the big hole, forcing him to hold the big swing with one arm, all repeaters have used a high left foot enabling them to reach the hold statically i.e cheating if you ask Jan ;)
