Over 50 women participants attended the first annual women's climbing weekend April 28-29, 2007, at Joshua Tree National Park in southern California, USA. The Sterling Rope/Peak Rescue Inst. Women's Climbing Weekend, was hot in more ways than one! With temps soaring into the 90s, the warrior women participated at many locations throughout the park attending clinics on basic climbing skills, placing gear, building anchors, and leading.

absolutely shocking! What a terrible way to coach in movement on Rock. Surely they'd have learned much better if they were either scared sh*tless and thrown straight on lead or had to stop and remove gear every couple of moves? Nice to see some *normal* people being featured climbing on here rather than sh*t hot E number superstars!
