Most of the action in the bouldering world right now is down south in Australia and South Africa, and there has been qiute a lot of it.
In Rocklands, Jimmy Webb continues making very quick work of absolutely everything he puts his hands on.
In his first two weeks, he has done ~25 problems in the 8A-8B+ range, almost half of them flash, and the rest typically in a couple of tries.
It will certainly be interesting to see what happens now that he decides to focus on the harder lines.
Meanwhile in the land of Oz, Paul Robinson, Carlo Traversi, Nalle Hukkataival, Dave Graham and Co. are once again on a mission to make first ascents of the best lines and repeating what's already done, on what they call the best rock on the planet.
Early days still, but Paul has managed some good ticks with Nalle's Occam's razor, ~8B+, being the hardest.
I think the best is yet to come and now Alexander Megos is in the country as well.James Webb is sponsored by: prAna, Sterling Rope, Tennessee Bouldering Authority, Five Ten, Organic and Metolius.
Paul Robinson is sponsored by: La Sportiva, prAna and Asana
