Operations Manager (Wimbledon) Jobs

© Dave - The Boardroom Climbing

Finally, The Boardroom Climbing Ltd comes to London...

...well Wimbledon, which as it happens is much more up our street!

What we're offering:

  • Salary £28k - £40k
  • Free climbing (obviously) for you and one other
  • Trade discount off everything from our shop suppliers; clothing, climbing gear etc
  • Company mobile phone
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • A great place to work and, of course, support and training from our existing management team

" We are more than just a climbing wall, we are a way of life!"

We are looking for that certain someone to not only run the joint, but successfully bring the essence of The Boardroom to this exciting new location. We could list what is expected of an Ops Manager, but you already know that, right?

So what we're really after is a leader who thinks analytically, communicates effectively, and executes efficiently, even under pressure. A genuine people person with a passion to deliver a friendly, helpful customer service, along with creating a welcoming, productive and rewarding work environment. And a true believer in quality over quantity.

"We aim to inspire health and happiness, passion and knowledge

Through a creatively stimulating & physically challenging environment"

We are not necessarily looking for an experienced operations manager either. Proven managerial experience in a relatable customer facing environment, with the skill set and drive to make The Boardroom Wimbledon a great place to climb (and work), could make you the right person. And it always helps if you're a keen climber!

We can't expect you to know everything about how we'd like the centre to be run, just as we can't foresee the great ideas you're going to bring to the table. So, the operations manager from our existing centre, along with the two directors will be on hand initially, and always on call; for support, to bounce ideas around and help iron out those unforeseeable curveballs.

Likewise, you will be expected to be on hand and on call for your team, and as such your shifts will vary, including evenings and weekends, as we get The Boardroom Wimbledon team up to speed.

Full time (40 hours pw) 28 days leave.
Shifts can be flexible, but some evenings and a weekend day are expected.

"Helping you realise and achieve your full potential...We call it Play!"

If this sounds like a place you'd like to be, and a challenge you'd like to accept, then convince us in your covering letter why you should head up The Boardroom Climbing in Wimbledon...

...and email it along with your CV to : work@theboardroomclimbing.com

Closing Date: 13th February
