The Petzl UK Agency

The Petzl Agency is based from Lyon's head office in Tebay, Cumbria and provides the following functions: marketing, on the road sales representation, sales support, technical advice, order processing and customer services. 

In the Petzl Sport Sales Representative (Northern England, Scotland, Northern Ireland & Ireland) role, you will:

Be responsible for selling Petzl products into the Sport market which includes Retail, Climbing Walls and Adventure Parks (Operators). The territory to be covered is outlined within the application pack on our website.

The role looks like:

• Meeting and exceeding sales objectives
• Building new and existing relationships with customers via face-to-face customer visits, telephone and email contact etc.
• Promotion and sales of Petzl products at regional, national and international trade shows and events
• Keeping up to date with current Petzl product, technical specification and usage of Petzl products and those of our competitors
• Reporting regularly on customers and their sales performance to management and the sales office team
• Participating at Petzl sales meetings as required, both at Lyon head office and Petzl France
• Assisting the Petzl agency team when required with; marketing, order processing, returns and providing technical information for customer enquiries
• A considerable amount of self-managed travelling, predominantly driving
• Organising personal workload to ensure minimum working outside normal hours
• Overnight stays whilst on the road

What you can expect in return:

• Commencing salary likely to be in the region of £28,000-£32000, dependent on experience
