Location: UK South / UK North (2 Positions)
Technical Sales Representative
£46,000 to £60,000 per annum (with bonus package)
Start date: Feb/Mar 2024

Role Summary:

The Technical Sales Representative is responsible for direct revenue growth and account penetration across all Head Rush Technologies’ (HRT) product lines and services utilizing marketing tools and sales programs in adherence with HRT’s strategic goals and objectives and the defined sales plan in the assigned territory. Territory and market growth will be achieved via new customer acquisition, penetration within current customers, cross selling product lines, negotiating pricing and contracts, and servicing customers.

Pay: £28,000 to £30,000 per annum base rate with quarterly performance bonus - expected 46k-60k higher bonus is possible

Hours: Full-time with general flexibility in working hours - extensive travel and overnights will be required (within designated area - North / South)
Training: Full product and system training provided, however B2B sales experience and significant CRM experience is required
Holiday: 28 days per year
Benefits: Pension of 3% of salary, laptop, phone, mileage 
Reports to: Director of UK operations

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Sell HRT products and services per the sales plan in designated territory to new and existing customers through in-person appointments, in-person visits, telephone calls, and virtual meetings while providing expert knowledge and utilizing various lead sources.
  • Plan and manage sales territory commensurate with HRT strategic objectives and Key Performance Indicators.
  • Meet and exceed targeted revenue by building and maintaining strong business relationships and by developing and implementing sales strategies.
  • Utilize consultative selling and problem-solving skills to properly identify areas of opportunity in new and existing accounts.
  • Prepare and disseminate quotes and sales proposals in a timely manner.
  • Effectively negotiates pricing and contract structures in alignment with sales plan objectives and pricing guidelines.
  • Possess and maintain thorough knowledge of HRT’s product lines and services.
  • Understand and communicate information regarding company products, marketing, programs, services, and finance programs to new and existing customers.
  • Continually gather information on the competitive landscape, prevalent industry trends, and business climate within the territory and shares it with peers and the company.
  • Ensure that all required customer paperwork is complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
  • Provide timely and accurate information and reports as required by sales leadership.
  • Serve as the HRT product experts in assigned territory.
  • Utilize the CRM system to increase targeting efficiencies and provide detailed information on sales calls, in-person visits, sales opportunities, customers, and potential customers.
  • Input all required data and activities into the CRM system.
  • Attend trade shows, conventions, events, and meetings as needed.
  • Assist in the training and development of operators, as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Proven successful B2B sales track record calling within the industry or similar call point.
  • 3+ years in an outside sales position (climbing or outdoor industry related field is preferable)

  • Self-starter who is driven to succeed.
  • Negotiate price and terms of transactions.
  • Able to resolve customer issues and complaint.
  • Expert knowledge of the Head Rush Technologies product lines, services, and applications.
  • Able to analyze and prioritize market potential-based call patterns.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Capable in Microsoft Office, HubSpot CRM, FileMaker, Fishbowl and Magento.
  • Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • May be required to lift up to 40lbs.
