The Torre di Lavina (3308m) an unjustly forgotten and rarely climbed satellite summit of the Gran Paradiso range, seen from Turin. All its approaches are long and not banal, but the 500m Calosso route on the spur visible at the centre of the picture is one of the most underrated traditional lines of the area.
