cant explain mate, just took the photo early morning after spending a long night in the midi station, used my nikon d60 and had the settings on auto, I also done a quick photo fix on paint shop, quite new to the photo taking so still learning.

I agree with Sean about the border being too strong. Still a clear 5 and the most striking picture I've seen on here for a while, well done. Is this a colour photo?

I dislike borders on photos to the point which I wont bother giving a rating but, I have to give this a 5* as it`s such a powerful image which says all about mountaineering in the Alps

Would it be possible to upload a higher resolution pic as I'd really like to have this as my desktop background. Ideally a resolution bigger than 1600*1200. I'd happily host a couple of high res shots for people to download as desktops on my web server.
