Thanks Jamie. I must admit to checking your site (already seen in another thread, but I hadn't made the connection!). Like your painting a lot - almost photographic but with a slight 'dreamy' look. Very nice.

Thanks Mike. The full size is 9x25.5" without any scaling, so when I print it I'll probably take it to 40" :o)
It's from just below the final ridge before the slopes to the summit of Mont Blanc, looking back towards Mont Maudit (the peak to the left).

Interesting perspective from which to view the Kuffner arete shoulder on Mont Maudit, and way down below to the right, the Gervasutti couloir & west face of the Tour Ronde.
