Yes its a pity. I don't have the original and this pic is a scan of a poor duplicate. Still, better than nothing and a good reminder of an awesome day out, on this fine mountain.

Great photo Mark, really shows how steep the final pitch really is. Unfortunately, we arrived here in the dark frozen with rain and sleet showers and I kindly offered to let Bern lead this lovely slabby, smeary pitch (snigger). He repaid the kindness by not putting in any gear!

Hi Rich
It was an awesome day out - one of the most memorable of my climbing
life. We bivied on the east shoulder with a bunch of friends and then
Ian and I climbed the route starting at dawn and finishing with a
bottle of wine with our mates on top as the sun went down and a party
back at the east shoulder. Wild times back in the 80s!!
We had very warm weather but also snow on the same trip.
