Pete, we were doing Smith's today and I was looking at the buttress and wondered whether anyone has ever tried that! Gear must has been less than less than fantastic...

Henning, Aye pitch 2 and especially pitch 4 were not the sort of thing you want to fall off!I got both of them and Martin got the steeper but better protected pitches. This route had it all from steep ice to mega steep mixed and pumpy turf climbing. Smiths looked stonking!
