another really good shot. Please can you tell me where this lochan is? I have set Beinn Bhan as my first mountain to climb this year once my leg is strong enough.

Colin, the loch is on the summit plateau above Coire nan Fhamhair at around 2550ft. A brilliant camping spot!

It sure is. It's one of my favourite hills. The loch is NNW of the summit. This is Beinn Bhan of Applecross to avoid any confusion!

Well I have been across the top of the peak but can't recall this lochan. I will have to consult my map. Did you use a polarizer as the water is so clear?

Yes, polariser and tripod and I had to take my boots and socks off to miss the foreground shore out of the shot. It was a very warm spring day so I wasn't complaining.
