Nice pic, Sean. It just shows the power of digital imaging...the snow in the foreground reflects some of the light from Fort William and it also shows the amount of light pollution in a relatively 'unspoilt' place, beautiful but also full of sense of what we have lost!

Thanks for the comment Dave. I wasn't thinking of photography at the time as I was lost in the woods (literally), and as I came to a clearing I glanced back and suddenly saw Fort Williiam spread out below me. I rested the camera on a fence-post, cushioned by my hat, and hoped that this would work, but cursing that I didn't have any real foreground interest. This being quite a long time exposure, the foreground appeared pretty dark for me!

Very good Sean. I like shots of small towns at night when you are out in the wild, reminds me a little when in a hut in the alps and you can see the lights of the towns far below. It reasures me that I am away from the hustle and bustle as I can see them way below me.
