A nice industrial artefact!

Yes, I take your point.... This thing, however, when you pull onto the summit is incredibly striking. It is dedicated to the rescue helicopter pilots and their teams.

just noticed your reply - I like this sort of thing quite a bit. As we put our stamp on the environment, we might as well be bold about it. And this one appears to be stainless, so should be around for a while. As long as someone doesn't nick it!
Some of the ruins / wrecks / debris can also be rather poignant
