Home of a big John Gill highball - the name escapes me. We
got caught in a hailstorm there, with hail the size of golf balls! It hurt lots and the hire car was covered in dents!

The Thimble was the JG highball. 30' 5.12 solo with a bad landing in 1961. I looked, but I still had my "Pot" excuse. Not this spire, but in the area.

The spire pictured here is the relatively moderate Tent Peg, in the Ten Pins group.
