Gary sat beneath the first rock step which was more difficult than it first appeared. Just to the right of the step is an easier approach leading to the first of two grassy platforms,from there the gully becomes wide and very steep consisting of thick grass and moss all of which was very slippery due probably to the previous days heavy rain.
