Yep - it is the said route. Great to see someone else on it.

Good good, am going to take another look at it at the weekend when I have more than a half hour. Think some more routes on that little face will be possible

Nice one - am planning to pop out there to explore a bit more this weekend. I have a problem on another face near a wall with some graffitti on it ('Vin') on this tier. Quite a solid little face. It's straight up as I recall via a very small finger ledge. Can't quite work out the sequence at the moment. Rock a bit friable for the feet - may have to devise a new grading system relating to this friable rock: F1, F2, etc. :)

Ok, well me and Jack have discussed going around 1pm on Sunday so if you fancy joining us? Weather is meanat to be good at the moment! I think I remember seeing that grafiti that you mentioned, but didnt take a look at the wall. I liked the southern tip as the rest of the wall sloped away which made it feel a bit more exposed.

A point of interest: the climb is named after a song by post-punk icons, The Fall. Martin Bramah who wrote the song and played guitar with the band (and with whom I'm in touch with) has 'liked' this photo of the climb on Facebook...

Looks like there's plenty of opportunities to develop some harder routes as well. Sounds like with a bit of effort it could become a rather good (for Lincoln anyway) venue.

Put up 'Sex, pies and fingertape' yesterday. It seemed quite tricky but I'd like someone else to check it out re. the grade.
