Was that an easier finishing sequence than about 1m to the right? (Which I thought was the crux!)

The route decription is "from the right end of the ledge go up the wall to finish". This way seemed the obvious finish on positive crimps, good footholds, and a good finishing hold.

Aye, what I meant was "did I end up doing it a slightly more difficult way as I was doing it onsight and might not have found the easiest sequence straight away". I was not trying to imply either way was "right or wrong".
I guess thaat's the beauty of onsighting...

Don't know if you did it a slightly more difficult way, although possibly. I totally agree you may not have found the easiest way straight away if you were onsighting. I guess that's the beauty of headpointing...
