What is also interesting is the extent of the Rognon Glacier. Now those crevassed/serac areas just left of the moraine ridge have gone and the moraine extends way up higher towards the rognon.

You'll also notice, Jon, that we did rope up sometimes! I hope you are feeling appropriately warm and fuzzy as a result :)
My last summers in the alps were massively confusing as a result of the changed glaciers.
