A 5 inch block taken from the top of Ardverikie Wall in 1967 to determine rock type. Its now a paper weight!
SCOTTISH HIGHLAND ORDOVICIAN MINOR INTRUSION SUITE - PEGMATITE. Predominantly micaceous and feldspathic psammite with thin semipelite beds; turbiditic features. Abundant calc-silicate rock lenses and bands.
