Keith a picture of sartorial elegance clad in Army & Navy Store,Liverpool best gear.
We had stayed at the Couvercle Hut the previous night, cannot remember the route we climbed up to the summit of the Moine.

Great portrait of Keith and sartorial, yes - the Liverpool A & N was a good source of gear in those days. Do you remember the "Poor Man's Duvet" ? I made a special trip there to get a "PMD" and then Mo took it when he went to New Zealand.
That year Keith actually came out to the Alps with us in my A35 van and we went to do the Piz Badile. However, it rained non stop for a week - Janet and I went to Venice and Keith hitch-hiked to Chamonix where he met you.

The PMD which Boje refers to didn`t make it to NZ!It was stolen whilst in Turkey! It was so cold that Mo was hitching with his bugbag wrapped around him, constantly cursing the thief!
By the way, a fabulous photo of Keith. One of the great characters of the Wallasey Climbing Club.
