How far from the sea is this Chris?
Grew up on Jersey , but we dont have any bunkers falling over like this?..just a thought?

It looks like they were built on the crest of the dunes and erosion of the bases has started them migrating towards the sea. There are half a dozen on this section of coast all down on the beach. The Jersey ones are built on solid (granite) foundations!

Yes , there is some great granite on Jersey.
