Sid was the gentlest guy I ever met.. there aren't words to do him justice.
I miss you Sid.
Life feels pretty empty without you.

Sid took me on my first multi pitch climb, since then we climbed together when we could and also had some great winter days, our last climb together was NEB, we had a brilliant climbing arrangement, due to his lack of a lung I used to carry everything on the walk in/out and I would unleash the ginger ninja on the technical ground, he was a great guy and I am so glad to have had him in my life, it wont be the same without him.

He sounds like a lovely guy, I am sorry, such a shame.

I climbed and worked with Sid and had quite a few adventures, he once asked the Earl of Greystoke "Did Tarzan live at your House?"
His grin will be missed but memories will last.

This is a real shock! One of the friendliest people I met in my life. I did an IRATA course with Sid and had been climbing with him on a few occasions. We kept in touch and tried to meet up for the last 2 years but work always got in the way. I feel very sad. Work keeps us all from catching up with friends and family way too often. Rest in peace my friend, I'll never forget you. Lots of Love
