Is this a common mistake with double ropes? I rarely use them, just trying to figure out how exactly it happens. Oh and what's going on with the tail left after tying in!?

The shiny gear, low grade and extra long rope ends complete the story. I only wish I could keep up the newbies learning mantra, instead of becoming more complacent than I'd like.

Clip rope A to crab B, then clip rope B to crab C, then E, F, H but not G, repeat with other rope.......
